The best sport utvs on the market

When you ask three UTV owners which is their favorite sport UTV, they will give you completely different answers. However, we took a chance and come up with a list of the best sport UTVs on the market, so here is what we’ve picked.

Polaris RZR XP Turbo

Polaris RZR XP Turbo has everything you might want from a sport UTV. It has an adjusted seat, which makes it easier to grab the wheel, it has an increased horsepower and you can really feel the EPS working during a tough ride. The sheer power of this machine entices the driver to accelerate more and more, so you will be using the brakes a lot to control the UTV. Polaris RZR XP Turbo steers very nice and allows you to stay in complete control over the machine as you take on the turns. The shocks are absorbed really well, so you won’t be complaining about the back after a day of having fun with the sport UTV. All in one, Polaris RZR XP Turbo might be everything you want from a sport UTV, but there are more models to review, so keep reading

Arctic Cat Wildcat Sport Line

Arctic Cat Wildcat Sport Line comes with three models you can choose from: Arctic Cat Wildcat Sport standard, Arctic Cat Wildcat Sport XL and Arctic Cat Wildcat Sport Limited EPS. The standard versions come with a 700cc liquid cooled Twin and have a wide, 60inch footprint, which is sure going to come in handy for sportive rides. Wildcat Sport is also equipped with 26inch Carlisle Trail Pro tires with a 13inches ground clearance.

Arctic Cat Wildcat Sport Line have double A-arm front and rear suspensions for 12.2 and 12.6inches and a rear sway bar. The Sport and XT are also equipped with Jri EXC1 Shocks and the Limited EPS has Elka Stage 5 Shocks, which provides dual speed compression adjustment and rebound adjustment.

In the gear department, the A Team Rapid Response clutch system distributes the power to the ground via high and low gearing; there are also park, reverse and electronic 2WD/4WD/Differential lock options.

Yamaha YXZ1000R

Yamaha YXZ1000R is the first pure sport UTV of the Asian company and it has a lot to prove. It is an aggressive machine, which nests a 998cc liquid cooled DOHC inline three cylinder, which was pulled from the snowmobile line. And we’re glad they added it to this UTV, as it allows Yamaha YXZ1000R to roar 300 horsepower. The machine is loud and it has all the right to be, as it is the first manual SXS on the market. If you are looking for a side by side machine to give you a dirt bike feeling, Yamaha YXZ1000R is the machine you are looking for!

Can-Am Maverick Turbo

For UTV enthusiasts who are not impressed by the speed, there is Can-Am Maverick Turbo, which is all about the torque. There is a 10% increase in the power between this machine and previous models of the company, but the really important difference is the 40% increase in torque. Can-Am Maverick Turbo comes with a spot on power throughout the RPM range and allows the driver to roll in corners. All in one, Can-Am Maverick Turbo is a completely different type of sport UTV, but it does have its own premium spot!
